I've enjoyed photography since 1979. While in high school I was serious about capturing the moment and looking back on the good times that I can now share with others where mere words could not justify the emotion, energy and enthusiasm of that day or event.
Then one day while pondering what God had me in this world to do, I asked him what his thoughts were. In turn I felt him ask, “What do you always have in your hand?” My response was a Bible, of course. I still felt in my spirit that he wanted to know what else, so I then responded…”A camera!” Yes, and every since that awakening I have focused on capturing life's most precious moments for friends, family and clients.
I began to take classes to build upon my photography skills and set out on a journey of one picture at a time...

recognized as one of the “2005 Black Woman of
Distinction” by Friends of Yates, Inc. in Kansas City,
